Blockchain is not the endless parade of failed software and empty promises, but the invention of a new regime for cloaking fraud and graft in a perpetual mutating narrative of libertarian ideas whose single purpose is wealth transfer from the gullible to the greedy.

You know everyone is always like "Donald you're being so selfish, you only think about yourself", when he has spend everyday playing in a literal shrine to Mickey. #mickeymouseclubhouse #teamdonald
Maybe this is coder me talking, but have we considered just dropping "and" and only having the comma? #oxfordcomma

"WhatsApp gives users an ultimatum: Share data with Facebook or stop using the app"
Nobody is surprised. And it won't change anybody's mind, either. But still ... just in case ... if you stop using WhatsApp, or convince your friends to stop using it, thank you.

Neat tool to test for ad trackers on websites. Wish it came with a badge, I'd wear it proudly. https://themarkup.org/blacklight
@Sandra @kensanata this is exactly what I'm trying :)
@kensanata
There's not really good docs I found, but was reading the PR : https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/pull/7998
Also in the server admin section of Mastodon there's a blurb.
@kensanata
I think even the profile search is enough to get started, no need to aggregate toots. Maybe the opt-in for listing oneself could be controlled at the instance level, i.e. you can tell your instance to de-list you, and it will no longer return your profile when requested by a profile aggregator.
Anyways, I'm new here :) let me get a feel for things first ..

Reading a bit about relays, I think it's not exactly what I would want. I like the idea of my instance being just me and the people I follow. Adding content from a relay seems like it would pollute.
@kensanata
Amazing! Thanks!
@kensanata
The search is a good start, I think. Can you point me to why a centralized search is frowned upon? I get that centralization is something we are trying to avoid, but in this case it seems useful. Are there other arguments?
